Myths Crumble, Lies Scream Back.
Myth & Lies is a post-hardcore band from Dasmariñas, Cavite, born in 2024 from raw energy and restless riffs that hit like late-night confessions screamed into the void. Their sound carves through tension and release—sharp breakdowns, melodic choruses, and lyrics that bleed urgency, capturing the fire of youth caught between chaos and clarity.
The band revolves around founding member Jared Elejorde, the relentless guitarist, vocalist, and creative force who’s written every note. Starting as a fluid collective of musicians, Jared rebuilt it with kindred spirits who shared his hunger: Jhuls Mangana joined that same year as bassist, pushing the trio dynamic while Jared shifted between drums/vocals. By 2025, Kurt Allen Estelo locked in on bass, freeing Jared to unleash his guitar-and-vocals fury.
